The SpaceCarbon conference aims to proclaim knowledge and share new ideas among academic scientists, researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders from the research area of carbon fibers and composite materials in Space. SpaceCarbon final results will be presented, as well as keynote speeches from experts in the field, policymakers, EC, ESA, EDA, national agencies, relevant institutions, associations, and industrial end-users.

Call for abstracts: MSc. & PhD Students, Researchers from academia and industrial R&D, and experts in the field are invited to participate in the scientific conference of SpaceCarbon on the following topics:
a) Lightweight high-performance materials for Space applications,
b) Emerging composite technologies for advanced applications,
c) Innovative design of Space structures and components of the future.
Presentations will be selected for the Scientific Conference.
Selected works will have an opportunity to submit a paper on Polymer’s Special Issue:

The SpaceCarbon 2nd Workshop aims to proclaim knowledge and share new ideas among academic scientists, researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders from the research area of carbon fibers and composite materials in Space. SpaceCarbon will transfer the know-how and technological outcomes to the wide public, including lectures on lectures on carobn fibres and composites production, the design of the components for space vehicles, testing of carbon fibers, impregnated materials, and composites for space applications such as in space vehicles as components, as well as key manufacturing technologies utilized for their production.
